     Carolina Craft Distributing was started in 2007 with only three people. Our primary focus is on-premise and specialty retail customers.  Quality control sets us apart in servicing these customers by having a climate controlled warehouse, refrigerated cooler for all draft, and refrigerated delivery trucks. We are able to deliver a keg at 5:00 on a Friday for the customer to tap immediately.

     The main reason for our primary on-premise focus is the portfolio of specialty beers and wines that we represent. We are very proud of surrounding ourselves with so many great brewers and vintners. These great suppliers are all small to medium size. We don’t represent any major brands who would demand a large share of our company's time and resources.

     We take pride in our knowledge of our company’s product list. We are not order-takers, and we feel we are the first, true micro-beer distributor in the state of North Carolina. There are many liquor and wine houses that have beer in their portfolios. Our first objectives, however, are placements and making sure these products turn. At Carolina Craft we require our entire staff to do one in-store promotion per week from 4 – 7 PM and/or one on-premise promotion. We put our products directly into the consumer’s hands.

     Our mentality is that we are an extension of our supplier’s work force. Our job is not to sell their flagship, but to sell their brewery. We are here to brand ourselves and by doing so, we also brand our suppliers.
